I am going to try to get the MKT set up this weekend, add in all of the new toys/upgrades, do some wiring on it and prep it for movement.

If anyone is in the area and has some time to help out I would greatly appreciate it.  MKT work is not one man work.

Likewise, I know Dave Thomas is working on the Ferret this weekend as well and I am sure he could use a hand stuffing the engine back in that thing (or putting the Ferret back onto the engine, however that goes)

Regardless, this will be a weekend of happy happy good times projects so if you are not pre-occupied get your butt on out and chip in.  It's generally a pretty good time and is certainly a good way to get your East Wind fix. Smiley

UMMM yeah,,,its more like push the ferret UNDER the engine and TRY to SLOWLY lower it in place. I ahve no idea how much that engine weighs, but it MAXED out the hoist i have, and it AINT gonna roll when its lifted the engine.

But anyhow,,,ther eis LOTS to do on the ferret. drop the engine back in, start bolting stuff up,,,its in about 1/2 million pieces at this point. a buch of sanding/cleaning/painting is still needed to some items,,,but that aint too big of a deal. I have a 150kbtu deisel/kero heater that woprms stuff very nicely and makes the apint dry on real nicly and pretty much bakes it in place.

If anyone wants to come out, i will ahve plenty of eats/drinks for anyone here.

Elmo needs some work too,,,,,all christmas lights taken off, get him started and running, move him out of the yard and into the driveway. still need to get the gas tankfor the generator removed/repaired and plumbed. and many more other things.

most of it aint that big of a a deal, i can handle most of it,,but help is always great. Aint none of it that hard,,heck Davey took most of the ferret apart himself actually!
