This year's KAMO military vehicle rally will be Friday, Sept 30 to Sunday, Oct 2 at the D-Day Adventure Park in Wyandotte, OK. As usual, everyone is welcome and it's a family friendly event. If you don't own a military vehicle there will be plenty of people who will be happy to let you ride with them. It's a lot of fun and a relaxing weekend. There is no cost. One of the Steel Soldiers members should be there with his MKT to cook a breakfast or two. Other than that plan to bring food or drive to Secena just down the road. Tammy's Caf

Hmm - forgot about this event when we were planning CWG's Least Weasel.

But I might be able to make this work for me - go to this - then stage vehicles etc at Least Weasel AO on way home.

Jasonjc and Warthog from Steel Soldiers are offering medium tow bars for sale for $100 each minus feet. Sounds like a good deal for us larger MV owners. Feet can be had for a decent price with some patients. I'm planning to buy one for my deuce. With the smaller feet I could probably use it on the Mutt too.

Always carry two trauma kits.
One to induce trauma, and one to reduce trauma.

That's what I'm thinking. Carry it on the deuce in case of a brake down but I could also use it to tow my Mutt behind the deuce or the van. I just have to get two sets of feet because the Mutt needs smaller feet.

I have some smaller feet that I am not sure I have any need for.

The rally is just under a month away! Don't let it slip your mind.

I'll post pics this week. The Eastwind guys were missed this year. The turn out this year was small but it was still a blast as usual. There were a number of people who has to change plans at the last minute. Shanon came down with me and we had great time. Route 25 put the trucks through their paces.

With my new job there was no way I could get the time off. Looked like it was a lot of fun though.
