Do we absolutely have to have one, and if the only one we have is an officer's one, is that a problem? How easily distinguished are they?

Officer's one will work.

We prefer to have the correct gear - however being warm and functional in the field is the most important part.

And missing one is more noticeable than the wrong color anyway.

They do serve a function to keep you warm and the coats are designed to have them. Best to have the full system there.

EW 2013 or bust

« Reply #67 on: April 07, 2014, 09:56:00 pm »

I know it's immediately post-EW and everyone's probably exhausted, but I just did a gear layout to update my have/need list and take stock of the stuff that's gone missing between moves, and there's a few odds and ends on the list that I think will be easier gotten here than on eBay. I'd rather give Warehouse 4490 a few bucks toward a good cause than some random on eBay, so if you have any of this available please let me know:

5x pack straps

2x collar liners

1x web belt w/ buckle (no idea how I managed to lose that one)

1x garrison cap (my last one was a 58 and seemed to fit well)

I know I am just a sideline collector, but I always rather give my money to Tascabe and everyone else on here than anywhere else, so I would like to restock if it does not distract from the necessary stockpiles for Eastwind itself.

1x East German Grey Combat Belt  ($5)
1x East German Grey Combat Suspenders ($4)
1x East German Camo AK47 Magazine Pouch  ($5)
1x 3 finger NVA gloves ($8)
1x NVA pants suspenders ($5)
1x East German Gas Mask Bag ($5)
1x Epaulette buttons and string - $3 pair
1x Epaulettes - $2 pair
1x East German Camo Combat Pack (with rubber/plastic liner) ($9)
1x Pack straps - set of 3 - $2.50

2x collar liners ?
1x East German helmet Type III (I assume that is what you have only sold before) ?
1x Helmet Cover ?
1x Transport/Duffel Bag  ?

I have been busy with everything else and have not gotten to sales stuff lately.

Some of my inventory is still in the supply shelter at DDay but I will pull out what I have here off your lists and let you know.

No worries. All I need upon review is straps and collar liners anyhow, so no biggie.

Same, just figure I'd drum up the list for memories' sake.
