The KAMO (Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma) Military Vehicle Rally will be held October 3-5, 2014 at the D-Day park. There's no charge for coming down and hanging out. Saturday there will be trail rides and a barbeque. You don't have to have a military vehicle to come, anyone is welcome.

Shanon and I plan to get there in the early afternoon Friday. Camping is done near the main entrance to the playing field by Caen.

I think it will be however I wouldn't be opposed to doing some trail riding, going out to breakfast, etc first. What are you thinking?

I work Friday and Saturday so Sunday would be the only day I could come out. Have a buddy at work that was (is?) a Marine and he'd probably love to check out a bunch of MVs.

Most guys would pack up late in the morning. Any idea what time you could get there Sunday morning?

I can stay until 14:00-15:00 Sunday if that makes it worth the drive. Not sure how many other people will still be around then.

Rgr, I'll get with him and see if he's interested. How many vehicles typically turn out to KAMO?

Last year was about 15 trucks or so. It's still a small rally but we're working on growing.

If I can get one or two carpoolers from my region I would drive down to spend a weekend trailing.  Any others interested?

I figure while I'm there I'll fire up Stagg's deuce if he likes and run it around a little bit. It will be good for it.
