Light Leaders Course/Warrior Basic Course
SEP 20 & 21, Saturday 8:30 am til Sunday noon
   Weston, Missouri

Address: 17635 Lober Rd. Weston Mo, 64098 (Google or map quest it)

One Shepherd will combine these two training events into a single weekend.  This is the first time we've done this and we're expecting a synergetic enhancement of the training.

The fee for either the WBC or the LLC is $50.  Yes, that is the Student Leadership Program price...and no you don't need to be a member.  This event is open to the community.

You may either register online at http://www.1shepherd.com/schedule/default.aspx or you may simply reply on this post forum and pay in cash on site.  Either way, we need a headcount.

The LAST DAY TO REPLY/REGISTER is Friday, September 12th!

Note the Basic Warrior Course will use MILES geat for it's practical application segments.

This is QUITE a value added feature for attendees.  If you have never played with MILES gear, you do not know what you are missing!

Camping will be available friday night.  We will be settup gear, tents etc friday anyhow so we will have ample tent space if you care to use it.

Also as an aside, we will be fielding some of our new East Wind gear at the LLC partially just for the hell of using it and partially because I need to hand some stuff off to  people anyhow.   Expect to see Terry Stout's GP mediuim "ready room" set up as well as the mess tent and the field range in use for cooking meals.  Yes, Maddog will be there cooking (I'll be helping).

I'll also be hauling gear up in the Deuce although frankly not hardly enough of it to even notice in the bed of that thing so if some of you local KC guys want to shorted your commute, you are more than welcome to rally at my place and catch an empty troop seat for the ride up north.  I have the cargo top and bows on it so it would be a covered ride and I am sure 1000% more pleasant than the ride you are going to get at East Wind as that thing bonka bonka bonks over boulders and across ruts.  Obviously there's no need to pack light Smiley

Looks like the turnout should be VERY good, lots of guys coming from all over to hit both courses, ai am sure this is going to be a great weekend.

I was planning on taking off probably around 3 or 4 but i've got a little wiggle room on times.  I just mainly want to make sure I am there to help Terry put up the GP medium since I am going to be shopping for those soon and want to get some first hand experience with manhandling one around and setting it up.

Ok, I have checked with my coach, and currently there is no scheduled events on the 20th.  So as long as everything goes as planned I will be attending.
