OH goody! Photo reference of quite literally every vehicle in the Soviet Motor Pool!  Grin Now all we need to do is pitch in and buy a Trabi...Although to be honest, Ive always wondered about their off road capability seeing them with the grenzers so often...

Fuck that noise.  Offroad tires, sneak a beefier engine in there... even if it works once, a fucking sky blue trabant full of angry grenzers will catch everyone off guard exactly once before it catches fire from the strain!

Unfortunately Trabants can't be bothered to catch fire anymore.  They are so behind their quota that it would catch fire after the event... seriously trabants are fun little vehicles, just like golf carts are fun.
Bummer for us, because the Grenzer version is classic coldwar.  The amount of money it takes to get a running trabi here in the state, and then keep it running would put us in two GAZ69s or another really UAZ.

Just ask Commie, that is his latest project, and the reason he is selling off his other vehicles.

What is the second for the right vehicle.  I have seen plenty in photos but can never nail down the name.

Dunno man, that one looks like it would get stuck on a speed bump never mind the trails down at DDAP.

I now suddenly feel the urge to drive a golf cart in Grenzer gear.

So, regarding the jackshirt/Hemdbluse differentiation, what is the difference? To my knowledge, jackshirt is just the English translation of Hemdbluse. So I assume there is a correct and an incorrect shirt? Which one is correct, and which one is not?

Personally, the jackshirt is just a shirt.  There are two main types, both of which I believe are correct for NVA.
