Warmth Layer

All NVA players must have a warmth layer.

-fleece or wool sweaters are a good choice. They also don't break the bank. East German NVA sweaters are still available.
-Another option is to get the Winter weight NVA uniforms, in Strichtarn. They have a fur collar option, and can be worn either as a complete stand alone uniform (top and pants) or you can wear just the top and use it as a Parka (If so, I suggest using the next size up)
