NVA players must have a spoon and an East German Mess kit.
Also required is a dish cloth for cleaning your mess kit in the field or before KP is established.

-These grey Mess kits can be found for 5 five dollars or less
-Unlike Soviet mess kits, these have an extra container inside.
-Also unlike Soviet mess kits the large bottom container seats inside the top container. Allowing you to hold piping hot soup without burning your hands.
- If you want, you can splurge and get the NVA utensil kit ($8-$12). It's cool, but not necessary. If you already have a spoon, use it, just make sure you actually bring it to mess!
-Another handy item is a separate coffee cup (not required).
