Military Cot
A military cot is recommended for all participants.
- If your squad happens to quartering in a larger tent, then
a military cot or even a stretcher goes a long way towards making
your night's sleep better. Cots always seem to be overpriced like
nobody's business at surplus stores but you can almost always
find them on Craig's List or at a Swap and Shop for around $15-$25.
- If you have a civvy cot that looks the part we are ok with it
but we are not going to allow shiny blue cots with tassels or
anything even close.
- Keep in mind also that having a cot does not relieve you of
the need to have a sleeping pad. You still want an insulating
layer between you and the cold air circulating around/under your
cot as well as to take forward with you.
