Helmets/Body Armor
Eastwind's Medic rules require that only players who
are wearing either a helmet and/or body armor have the potential
to be "saved" once hit. If you are hit while not wearing
body armor, you are considered instantly KIA and the "long
walk" begins back to the respawn area. Helmets are also useful
from a safety standpoint as no participants are allowed transport
in vehicles on the field without them due to the "bumpy"
nature of riding in troop transports and armored vehicles. Riding
in one of these without a helmet is a quick and easy way to sustain
a concussion.
Acceptable armor consists of:
SSH68 Helmets (Below Left)
SSH40 Helmet (Below Right)
*Note: Czech Copies of the SSH40 are also acceptable.
East German Helmets are also acceptable.
