Combat Boots

Quality full leather or Gore-tex boots (no tennis shoes, NO jungle boots)

• I cannot stress enough how important good boots are here. You need waterproof boots.
• Normal full leather topped boots work just fine as long as you stay up on your maintenance and keep them polished up so that they are good and waterproof.
• All boots worn by NATO troops at East Wind will be black in color.
• Bringing a spare pair of boots is a good call as well. If you have one set that meets the above criteria, your second pair can be jungle boots, but be prepared to learn why we are not allowing them as primary boots.
