Correct British Airsoft Weapon
Rifles
- The L85 is the standard infantry rifle for British troops at East Wind. You may use either the carry handle iron sights, or the SUSAT. No other sights or scopes will be allowed. The L22A1, and other variations are not allowed. The L86 is listed under Machine Guns, below.

- Also acceptable is the L1A1 SLR (Self Loading Rifle). Understand that the metric pattern FN FAL is not the same thing as the L1A1 and is NOT an acceptable alternative. The SUIT (Sight Unit Infantry Trilux) scope may be used, using only original mounting systems.

Precision Rifles
- The period appropriate UK forces sniper rifle is the L96A1. Snipers/marksmen must have already attended 2 prior East Wind events or have graduated the British Army Sniper School. The sniper rifle may only be brought in addition to an individual weapon (such as an L85 or GPMG) since not every mission is an ideal sniper rifle mission.

Machine Guns
Two different types of support weapons are equally appropriate for UK forces at East Wind:
- The L86 Light Support Weapon may use either the carry handle iron sights, or the SUSAT. No other sights or scopes will be allowed. You must retain the bipod.

- The L7 GPMG may be used in any ground configuration (L7A1, L7A2, etc.). This is identical to the FN MAG-58, and is similar enough to the US M-240 that this may be used in it's place. No scopes or electronic sighting systems of any sort may be used. The bipod must remain attached, and no other modifications or variations will be allowed: no shorty versions, rail systems, different handguards, etc. will be allowed.

- The L4A1 BREN LMG is also correct, if you wish to make your own from a demilled actual gun. If so, only this model, the .308 version (the magazine for the .303, for example, is markedly different), in original configuration as usual.
Handguns
- The standard handgun for British Troops is the M35 Browning High Power. This weapon is not widely available but can be found with some effort if you are in a role where you really think you must have a handgun.
