German Cook Stove

A military cook stove is recommended for all participants.

• Great for making hot drinks or heating rations. East Wind can be bitterly cold, hot stuff can be a real morale booster.
• The issue Esbit stove is common, cheap and small.
• If you get one new, a number of pieces of the solid Esbit fuel will come with it. You can also use a USGI trioxane tablet. Be sure to break off only what you need of the fuel tablet; don't light the whole thing on fire.
• Get with the guys on your squad or fireteam and make sure one of you has a little cook stove. You will be glad to have it on cold wet days.
